You do, I bet!
This is a tandem post with my other blog - The Bear Soap Blog. I wanted to show everyone some soap dishes that I got from as yet another sterling small business.
And I thought - what better way to show you my free swag than to share the love and send some of it to YOU?!?
Introducing - the wood soap dish from Pine Branch Designs
It's simplistic and it works to save homemade soap from becoming a gelatinous mass next to your sink by allowing all moisture to seep through some very well thought out grooves. It also, in my opinion, looks good.
Cindy from Pine Branch Designs contacted me to see if I would be interested in some of her soap dishes. She offered to send me some samples. I quickly accepted, since any business I can throw to another small business owner is good by me, and they were soon winging their way to the Northwest.
I unwrapped them and instantly liked them. Calm, cool, simple yet sturdy and a very minimalist design. All of which appeal to me. Mostly because I'm a function followed by form person and am not known for my ruthless chick aesthetics. So anything that allows form and function to merge is a home run in my little world.
One of these dishes has found a permanent home by my bathroom sink. One caveat - I wouldn't recommend them for in the shower since wood will get musty and moldy when in the presence of too much water too much of the time. And I don't think these are made for showers anyways. By the sink is perfection for these little dishes and that is where mine will stay.
So, hey - wanna get some free stuff?
I'd like to send you a soap and a dish. And I won't even make you like me or do anything silly like that again. No - I want you to leave a comment saying:
1) Who you are.
2) Where you hail from.
3) What your blog or business is - what you specialize in, or what you're good at.
4) And links to any of YOUR online stores.
Let's get the word out for small businesses, shall we?
| A Soap Dish and a bar of Gardeners Soap - all for telling me whatchu got goin' on. |
Even if you don't sell anything - tell me about your website or blog. I want to know who everyone is. And I want everyone else to know you, too!
I'll keep this going until next Friday February 22nd. Then I'll randomly pick someone and send them their little gifty gift.
I want to say thank you, as well, to everyone who reads this blog. You guys- your knowledge, your wisdom, your kindness, and all the funny you bring makes me so happy, week after week.
So comment away!
Yay!
Hi, love your website! I love all the sites that give information about frugal living and being kind to the environment. My site is about my efforts to grow things, live frugally, and my love of quilting and reading. debbie
ReplyDeleteHi my name is Meghan, and I'm a fruit and cheese-aholic. I hail from Cleveland, although I was born and raised in Buffalo so small, big cities are my thing. My site is Clean Eats Fast Feets, and I'm all about eating whole and real food, and shying away from food like substances which is the majority of what our country now produces and sells to the masses. I also strongly believe food can have the power to heal or harm depending on what you're eating, and I want people to know eating whole and healthy food can actually be really freakin' delicious. I'm a huge fan of all things local, including my food supply, whenever possible, and I like soap and free swag too.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend.
Who I am: Kristin @ Going Country.
ReplyDeleteWhere I hail from: upstate New York.
What I specialize in: Controlling my over-the-top offspring, feeding people, falling woefully short of acceptable housekeeping due to the disgusting nature of pseudo-farm life. I used to specialize in growing all our vegetables, but the aforementioned offspring have made that more difficult. Though I still try.
